This vintage Cartier mariner link chain is TOO GOOD! Sometimes called the anchor link—has roots going all the way back to traditional nautical chains, where the split oval shape was engineered for strength and stability. Jewelers later adopted it for its sculptural rhythm, and Cartier, of course, refined it elegantly!
Here, the mariner links are sleek and rounded, connected by slender bar links that give the whole chain a clean vibe. It’s bold but not heavy, a classic! And it lays beautifully on the neck too!
