A gold icebox charm, mid-century, with a working hinged door that swings open to reveal a tiny red enamel heart tucked inside — because apparently someone was keeping that on ice!  One of the popular "secret" charms of the era, the door is engraved "ICE," the knob is perfectly to scale, and the whole thing stands on four little tapered feet like it belongs in a very chic dollhouse kitchen.
