Cartier is known for its playful side, and this little chick is a great example. Crafted from 18K yellow gold, the chick appears to be breaking free from its white enamel shell. It features a small diamond eye, a red enamel mouth, and finely textured gold feathers. The egg's jagged edges are part of the design, giving the brooch a lively, almost storybook look we adore.

The brand explored this idea as early as the start of the 20th century and revisited it with its whimsical animal jewelry in the mid-1900s.
