Diana is a Roman goddess and is widely considered a patroness of nature, hunting, childbirth, and the Moon. She graces the front of this Victorian locket in a carved agate intaglio with gold beadwork throughout the bezel and bale, and on the back, the initials "EBC" in crisp blue enamel. The make of the locket is giving major Etruscan Revival vibes, which makes sense considering how fond the Victorians were of the period.
