A fave motif around these parts! Back in the Victorian and Edwardian eras, people were obsessed with the cosmos—and it showed in their jewelry. Antique starburst pendants and vintage starburst brooches were all the rage, often made in gold or silver and set with old mine or rose cut diamonds for that perfect twinkle. These celestial-inspired pieces symbolized guidance and protection, and most likely a touch of magic. This starburst brooch is more delicate in scale than most we have found, and we this she's just perfect! Chubnky old mine dot the piece and we love the fact that she converts from a brooch to a pin easily!
