A very special, ultra-rare piece we just acquired - from Cartier's celebrated and highly collectible "Tutti Frutti" collection comes this vanity set or a compact. Crafted in 18kt yellow gold with black enamel and of course, those iconic carved gemstones (in this case, a sapphire leaf and a ruby flower bud - classic themes in the collection!). Special in so many ways, including coming in its original Cartier ftted box, its original puff stamped Cartier, and of course, its exceptional condition.
Truly an exceptional jewel to add to one's jewelry collection, especially for Cartier lovers.
The Cartier Tutti Fruity Collection
The celebrated Tutti Frutti tradition was released in the 1920s, when European jewelers paired the clean geometry of Art Deco with carved gemstones and botanical motifs inspired by Indian jewelry. Cartier introduced its first foliate bracelet in this style in 1925, although the name “Tutti Frutti” wasn’t widely applied until the 1970s.
Highly prized and a favorite amongst Cartier collectors.
