Crowned hearts are an antique jewelry design motif which deserves more recognition - they're a personal favorite which we find to be oh so charming. In the Georgian and Victorian era, single crowned hearts were indicative of love and devotion, more specifically the meaning, "ruler of my heart." 

This one is phenomenally special, as it centers on a pale pink, pear-shaped Padparadscha sapphire surrounded by chunky old European cut diamonds. I've not seen a padparadscha sapphire in this size (or in such a beautiful make) in quite some time, so I knew this baby was special the moment we laid eyes on her. Currently a brooch but easily converted to or worn as a pendant.
