A 66-inch 14k yellow gold flat curb link longuard chain with original swivel dog-clip clasp, Victorian era circa 1880s–1900s. Guard chains of this length were worn doubled at the neck with a pocket watch or locket hanging from the clip — a convention men and women both adopted by the turn of the century. The faceted links catch light beautifully, with gorgeous patina, and the clasp functions perfectly, and 66 inches of antique 14k gold gives you more styling options than we have room to list!  A rare find in this condition.
