This beautiful midcentury piece lived its first life as a brooch, with a big heart-shaped peridot in the center. Somebody had harvested the peridot for themselves, thus we were left with an open-space pendant with plenty of potential - thus, our newest conversion locket was born! We smoothed out the inner bezel, removed the pin component, placed a glass face in the center, and added a yellow gold locket backing.
Studded with bright and sparkly vintage round brilliants, we absolutely LOVE how this baby turned out. The epitome of “reduce, re-use, recycle,” that open space center is the perfect nook to house your photos, engravings, or other bits and bobs that you want to display.
