And we love it so because of its unique faceting pattern, a mesmerizing mix of the asscher cut diamond and criss cut diamond styles. Crisp, clear, and just so incredibly bright and prismatic. A patented and trademarked cut, Tycoon cut diamonds are known for their iconic "diamond within a diamond" design, featuring a diamond-shaped table (top facet). Invented in 1999 by the Kejejian cousins, this rare collector cut is a mixed-cut diamond with nine crown facets and 20 step-cut pavilion facets — designed to enhance brilliance, fire, and clarity, especially when compared to traditional emerald cut diamonds.
