Introducing our "Sunset" setting, the latest design in our design portfolio. Inspired by the romantic lines of the Renaissance era, the center stone offers up the perfect contrast as it nestles against the soft flowy lines of the gallery. We added deep blue enamel with a crescent motif on the gallery shoulders and voila - a perfectly timeless ring is born!
And of course this point cut diamond is the bees' knees - I can count on my fingers the number of point cut diamonds I have ever had the pleasure of offering for sale.
Believed to have been the first diamonds to have ever been cut, the point dates back to the 1300s. The cuts were very basic, and pretty much followed the shape of the diamond rough, an octahedron shape. From this cut, other diamond cuts and shapes soon were born.
