Pear cut diamonds are a favorite of ours - and while they are almost exclusively set in the North/South orientation, we love turning things on their head. Quite literally. 

We set this beautiful 2ct pear in the East/West orientation to make for a ring that is unique and classic all at once! She's a fabulous bright GIA J color and an SI1 clarity but absolutely eye-clean - not to mention oh-so-spready across one's finger. An antique design motif with a modern touch.
