This beauty is strung with about 12.21 carats of chunky, bright and sparkly old European cut diamonds, each one hand-cut over a century ago and set in platinum. Inspired in style by an art deco ear riviere we sold many years go, we find these soulful antique diamonds much more beautiful and charming than their modern counterparts.
Rivière necklaces have been beloved since the Georgian and Victorian days, gracing the necks of royalty and socialites who couldn’t resist the row sparkling of diamonds. By the early 20th century, they became the go-to evening jewel—elegant, effortless, and forever chic. Set in cool platinum, this necklace has that same old-world charm and easy glamour we can’t get enough of.
