"Crisscut" diamonds are a unique and patented diamond-cutting technique created by Christopher Slowinski in the early 21st century. This cutting style combines aspects of both emerald-cut and brilliant-cut diamonds, resulting in a distinctive and eye-catching diamond shape.
These diamonds have a crisscross or "X" pattern of facets on the crown (top) of the diamond, consisting of long, narrow facets that intersect at the center of the stone.
