We were quite taken by this stone when we first came across her - we weren't quite sure what cut it was, and upon looking at the GIA report (which describes it as a "bent top" step cut), we were even more mesmerized! Plus the high color and clarity are hard to beat.
With facets akin to the tiny individual tiles of a disco ball, this rectangular-shaped diamond is oh so special! It almost looks like an optical illusion as light moves across the top of the stone, with a subtle sparkle and bright face-up. We've set her east/west in chunky yellow gold, so she spans beautifully across the top of the finger. A special diamond indeed.
