Mikimoto is the first jeweler to create cultured pearls in - a technique they’ve perfected all the way back in 1893. This “Life” charm comes from a 1960’s charm bracelet that belonged to a collector of travel motif charms - so as far as we’re concerned, this piece was probably picked up in Japan on a trip, and added to the bracelet as a sweet souvenir.
