A RARE Victorian gold padlock locket with a big, glowy garnet cabochon front and center — a piece that looks like it was made to hold a secret (and probably did!). The hand-engraved floral work around the bezel is still crisp, and that hinged bale means it slips right onto a chain without any issues. Padlocks like this were classic Victorian love tokens, given between sweethearts as a sweet little "you've got the key" gesture — though this one looks far too good to hand over lightly. The PERFECT pendant - a padlock and locket all in one!
