While sorting through a pile of recycled old cuts, this trio stood out and upon closer inspection, we realized they were the CUTEST set of jubilee cut diamonds! As they came from the same pile, it is very likely they belonged with one another and were set together in their previous life. 

We set them flush in a buttery 18kt gold band with rounded edges, to make for the yummiest band we ever did see. The jubilee cuts are incredibly special and super prismatic in the light, they allow for maximum sparkle and tons of antique charm. They span across one's finger in the best way, and we think this ring would make a great wedding band or "just because" piece.

What is a Jubilee Cut?

The Jubilee cut is one of the rarer antique diamond cuts. It was developed in the early 20th century and named for Queen Victoria's Diamond Jubilee in 1897. Unlike a typical brilliant cut, the Jubilee cut does not have a flat table. Instead, eight facets meet at a slight point in the center of the crown. With up to 88 facets, compared to the 58 found in modern round brilliants, this cut was designed to create exceptional sparkle and a lively play of light.
Jubilee cut diamonds were only made for a short time, which makes them especially rare today.
