A show-stopping pair of Art Deco era earrings, set with bright (needless to say: large!) old European cut diamonds at the base.  These earrings originally came to us with friction backs, which we have since replaced with posts (more secure, especially since the diamonds are big and have some weight), as well as slightly longer wire (which we did away with to make them less dressy and simply perfect with both day and evening wear).

The diamonds are sparkly and are like little headlights, with bright flashes of light and fire with every movement.  True SHOW STOPPERS!

The Allure of Art Deco Era Earrings

Art Deco double drop diamond earrings have a natural glamour that comes from the bold, modern spirit of the 1920s and 1930s. During this time, jewelry design moved toward clean lines, movement, and striking geometric shapes. These antique earrings stand out for their two-tiered design, where antique diamonds hang in a graceful row, catching the light with every turn of the head. They are often made from platinum or white gold, which were popular then for their strength and cool shine. These earrings show the era’s love for innovation, symmetry, and subtle luxury. Today, collectors prize Art Deco diamond double drops for their timeless style, versatility, and elegant sparkle. They offer a perfect mix of architectural beauty and graceful movement that harkens back to the era.
