Antique old mine cuts in the larger sizes are becoming more and more rare with time - when we set our eyes on this 7.10ct, part of a 14.20ctw matched pair, our hearts nearly burst! Two deliciously chunky, rustic, and prismatic antique diamonds with bright face-ups and eye-clean clarities. This 7.10ct has magnificent spread and that highly sought-after kozibe effect that only the old cuts possess.
While we'd love to see this pair kept as such (hello, earrings!), this stone alone would make the most breathtaking solitaire ring. Or, perhaps a three stone situation with accent diamonds on the shoulders. Or, set flush in 20kt yellow gold. All choices are good choices when it comes to a stone as beautiful as this.
