This pair of old European cut diamond bezel earrings started their life as simple diamond drops with French wires.  The bezels were deliberately designed to be slightly chunky, with a hand-finished, artisanal vibe.  However, it came to me one day that they were too beautiful to simply be worn only in that single way.  So they stayed in their original bezels and I had the top bales made slightly bigger so that they can loop through the base of stud earrings, or skinny hoops.  Imagine them worn as a diamond drop at the base of diamonds studs, or even gemstone studs (I'm imagining sapphires, rubies, or emeralds!).  VOILA!  A pair of super versatile earrings were born.  I just LOVE THESE!

The diamonds are sparkly and bright - simply stunning on the ears.
