At first, second, and third glances - you're going to think that you are looking at a diamond!  This is the most diamond-like light yellow sapphire that I have ever had the pleasure of owning.  The faceting is crisp, and while the sapphire was graded to be light yellow, you hardly see the tint in this yellow gold setting.  And speaking of setting, this bezel solitaire is simple and sleek and allow the gemstone to remain the highlight.  Set East-West, the overall vibe is modern.  Will stack perfectly with a band as well.
