While they are more often seen as side stones, we here at JbyG love a good ol' kite shaped diamond. They make beautiful and unique solitaires that (in our opinion) really kick round brilliants to the curb.
This 1.02ct is a kite-shaped portrait cut, with step cut faceting alone the edges but a very portrait-like center. We've set her on her side, in a platinum bezel along a yellow gold shank for a delicious two-tone moment. She sits low to the finger and makes for a wonderfully special diamond ring.
